A cost effective way to improve your PC's performance is to upgrade the memory. A 1 GB upgrade for a 4 year old PC costs around £40 including fitting and can often double the speed of the computer. Early Windows Vista Computers were supplied with insufficient memory to make using Vista a pleasurable experience. Symptoms include slow start-up times, slow internet and slow shut-downs. We can make Vista run much more quickly by upgrading your memory to a minimum of 2 GB (from £40)
